Instructions for authors of scientific papers

If you have had your abstract accepted as a scientific paper, you must submit your final formatted papers by 4 December 2009. Please download the following files and follow the instructions:

Please note that all presenters will need to register and pay to attend the conference. You will not be able to submit your finished paper until you have done this.

Instructions for poster presenters

If your abstract for a poster has been approved, you need to do the following:

  • If you wish to have a short paper included in the proceedings, write a paper of maximum three pages according to the following styleguide:

  • Email your paper to s.hull@ergonomics.org.uk by 21 September 2009.
  • When the paper is approved, upload your final version (with any recommended amendments) when you register for the conference. If you do not have a paper for the proceedings, you still need to register. The deadline for registration is 4th December 2009. Book on-line now.
  • Create your poster. The panel on which the poster will be displayed is 1.8m high by 0.94m wide.
  • You will need to display your poster at the conference from Tuesday 13th April until Thursday 15th April. You need to be available during the poster session time, Tuesday evening from 17.00 to 18.30, to talk to delegates who wish to discuss your work with you.
Your details will be included in the conference programme which is published in August, December and March.

Please note that all presenters will need to register and pay to attend the conference. You will not be able to confirm your place for a poster until you have done this.
